Look and
Feel
10 to 20 Years Younger

By Mid May!

Dr. Jill here...You ACTUALLY CAN look and feel 20 to 30 years younger just 10 weeks from today. AND without hours at the gym or hundreds of dollars of pills or plastic surgery! I AM PROOF, AND I LOVE IT.

Now I know this claim might seem a bit hard to believe, but I spend less than 5 minutes each morning doing this. And I can tell you this -- it works, and it works FAST! My energy is way up, I am just naturally trimming down, I am physically stronger, and my skin has a wonderful new healthy rosy glow.

Here's the story behind this REAL secret: A British Army colonel visited a remote Tibetan monastery back in the 1930's and came back looking literally 30 years younger. YOU can get the same results. The "Five Rituals" are based on what he learned inside that remote Tibetan monastery, high up in the Himalayas.

The amazingly simple techniques he brought out of Tibet were almost forgotten until recently.

But quite a few very interesting people DO know about these Five Rituals, including actors Shirley MacLaine and Martin Sheen (ever notice how dynamic and young they look - without Botox.) I understand there is even a group of colonels in the Pentagon that meet every morning to do this ... and I personally know many other doctors who spend a few minutes a morning doing exactly what I am doing to keep their dynamic youthfulness.

So.... Would YOU like to discover how to look THIRTY years younger, in just FIVE minutes a day? This WILL change your life in the most remarkable way -- FAST!!To learn how=> Click here

Many people today feel as though the rug has been pulled from beneath their feet!

They are being forced to ideal with a turn of events that is beyond their control—natural disasters, the plunging economy, and just plain old bad luck.

"The only time we ever know what's really going on is when the rug is pulled out and we can't find anywhere to land,"
Buddhist philosopher Pema Chödrön writes in her book When Things Fall Apart.
There's great truth in this, since such challenges force us to determine what we do, and do not, truly "need."

What can one do? Responding positively to such events requires a deep kind of inner strength called resilience. And those who have it usually do far better than those who do not.

What is resilience? It's defined as "the ability to accept ambiguity and find hope amid uncertain or threatening conditions."

Resilient people do not let adversity define them. They transcending pain and grief by perceiving bad times as temporary, and believe better times are coming.

Experts disagree about how much of resilience is genetic. People do seem to differ in their inborn ability to handle life's stresses. But resilience can also be cultivated. At the heart of resilience is belief in yourself.

It's possible to strengthen your belief in yourself by "revisiting" past events and and discovering the strength you built by surviving them. Resilience is not the ability to escape unharmed. Resilient people have scars, but they avoid blaming themselves for what has gone wrong, and take responsibility for what goes right in their lives.

At the heart of building your resilience is a technique called “Reframing.” This is a way of shifting your focus from the cup half empty, to the cup half full. Take the case of one woman who had been emotionally abused by her older brother throughout her childhood. Her healing occurred in an instant when she reframed those years of abuse into a realization that she was a truly powerful survivor.

Re-examine your life story to discover how heroic your acts were as a child. Go back to an incident, identify your resulting survivor’s strengths, and build your self-esteem and resilience.

This IS your life. Why not find ways to make the very best of any challenges you face? Go for it!

Brain Teaser

Do Frogs and Armadillos Dream?

It's long been assumed that dreaming only occurs in humans, but some recent research reports seem to indicate that other creatures also dream. Animals certainly do experience dream-related REM sleep, but their subjective experience is difficult to determine. Can you guess which group of animals are most likely to dream (only one answer is correct):

  1. Cats and dogs
  2. Frogs and armadillos
  3. Birds
  4. Mammals and birds

Scroll down to the bottom of the ezine for the answer.

Subliminal Reframing

Subliminal Messaging is a very powerful reframing tool.

Do you doubt the power of subliminal messages? Actually you are influenced by them every time you look at a TV ad. The U.S. Government banned subliminal messages on radio and television in 1974, saying they "gave individuals and companies too much of an edge." But they're back!

New Proof...
Optimists Live Longer

By Julie Rosset, MA, Editor

There is new proof that optimists far outlive pessimists.

A study by the National Institutes of Health has followed 100,000+ women aged 50 and over since 1994, and now reports a strong relationship between optimism and a person's risk for early death, cancer, and heart disease.

Researchers at University of Pittsburgh reviewed questionnaires that surveyed the women's personality traits, then tracked their rates of death and chronic health conditions over eight years.

They found that compared to pessimists, optimistic women are 14 per cent less likely to die from any cause, and 30 per cent less likely to die from heart disease.

Women who scored high on cynicism and hostility had a higher general death rate and a 23 per cent greater risk of dying from a cancer-related condition.

The research adds to similar findings from previous studies that have linked optimism to longer life.

Hilary Tindle, an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, says previous research suggests optimistic women have a healthier risk profile. "They are less likely to smoke, they are more likely to be active, and they are more likely to have a lower body mass index," she said. "All of these are risk factors that certainly matter for length of life and health."

Brain Teaser

Answer to Brain Teaser
The animal with the longest average periods of REM sleep is the armadillo. But mammals and birds are the most frequent dreamers in nature -- which is probably related to their sleep patterns (answer four is correct.)

Many animals such as frogs do not seem to sleep at all. It has been discovered that cats seem to dream mostly about chasing prey and playing with it. On a more basic level, many dog owners have noted that their pets sometimes move their legs as if running – or even make weak barking noises while asleep, or suddenly wake up and appear to think that something from their dream is actually real.
