Life in One Minute

Want to make some positive gains in your life. but just can't find the time to take action?
Finding time to make changes can be an issue! But even the biggest goal is accomplished only one step at a time. So why not just commit to take such a small step right now?
Here's an answer -- some very positive ways to use the power of a single minute to move your life forward:
Exercise for One Minute
No time for the gym? OK. Forget about the next 59 minutes, and just focus on the next one minute. Do a deep breathing exercise, or one minute of push-ups or sit-ups. After a while you may want to expand to two minutes -- then you've made a 200 percent jump.
Refresh your Mind for One Minute
Just relax into your chair and inhale a slow deep breath all the way down into your belly. Then open your mouth just slightly, and release your breath as slowly as you can. This is a great way to immediately refresh your mind with increased oxygen.
Calm Yourself for One Minute
Your mind is a fabulous theater and contains wonderful visions of your favorite places. Go visit one of those places mentally for one minute. Just relax and clear your mind wherever you may be. You’ll come away feeling refreshed, and a lot calmer and clearer.
Change Your Outlook for One Minute
Experiment going outside your normal self for a minute. Try acting the exact opposite of how you usually act for one minute. If you tend to be introverted, think like an extrovert. If you are an engineer, think like an artist. If you are a man, think like a woman.
Re-Frame a Problem for One Minute
Choose a problem, then select a different frame of reference to consider a solution. Try considering the problem through the eyes of someone you admire. Does the problem look different? Try looking at it with the mind Albert Einstein or Bill Gates or some historic person. Now how does the problem look?
Be Happy for One Minute
Maybe you're feeling overloaded with problems and challenges outside your control. Try finding something to give thanks for, and focus on being grateful. Forget any current or past tragedies or disasters, and just let yourself be happy for one minute.
You really can achieve wonders in just one minute. And these single minutes can add up to a greatly improve quality of life. Give it a try!

Are Near-Death
Experiences Real?
A Quantum-Self Research Report
Recent research shines a new light on how near-death experiences dramatically change how a person’s brain operates... and often lead to rapid personal transformation.
Willoughby Britton at the University of Arizona studied the brainwaves of persons who have had a positive, transformative near-death experiences. He found clear evidence their brain-wave patterns are quite different from those who haven’t had a conscious near brush with death.
"It’s interesting to see why some people are transformed and why some people aren’t… and whether studying people with positive near-death experiences can help the people who have negative experiences," Britton said. "It’s a profound personality overhaul."
Britton found a distinct spike in activity in the left temporal lobe of people who have had positive near death experiences. The brain’s left temporal lobe has often been implicated in reports of feelings of peace and tranquility, and also with near-death reports of encountering a bright light and an increased sensitivity to smells and sounds.
"The left temporal lobe," the researcher said, "is considered the 'God module" -- the part of the brain that may connect one with transcendent energy." All of the activity that Britton recorded was from the left half of the brain — not the right half, which is more often associated with visual and spatial creativity.
“One hundred percent of the activity came from the left side," Britton explained. "There’s no logical reason for someone to have an accident and just have one side of their brain affected.”
Dr. Bruce Greyson, a psychiatrist at the University of Virginia Health System who also studies people with near-death experiences agrees with Britton. He feels this proves that the mind-brain interaction is much more complex than scientists previously thought, and...==>>Continue Reading Here!
