A 2-Day Action Plan

You hear stories about people who are on the edge of a cliff, but suddenly turn their lives around. How do they do it?

For sure... we can assume at least one thing – something changed for these people.

Why change? Let's start with this... We all know we can’t expect success by doing the same things that have led us to the cliff’s edge.  This is basic. Here’s a quote from the brilliant MIT scientist Stuart Lichtman that says it all:

“What’s the reason why you haven’t yet achieved what you want? It’s not your parents, it’s not your friends, it’s not your spouse, and it’s not your ‘bad luck.’ It’s not the world’s economic situation, it’s not the competition, it’s not your boss. The reason is you. To be more exact, the reason is in your mind... and the things you do every day.

If YOU are ready for a positive and empowering shift, here’s a simple plan of action that will get you there …

STEP 1
First
, select ONE goal you sincerely want to accomplish over the next 30 days.

Make it a SINGLE goal, not a collection. Write your goal right now on paper and include exactly what you want. Follow the below format in writing your goal:

If your goal is financial, it might go like this: "By the first day of December 2009 (specify the exact date), I will have in my possession an additional $5,000, (The exact amount) which will come to me between now and then in various amounts. In return for this, I will do whatever is necessary and appropriate in my business (describe your business, or the business you intend to create)."

Second, now spend at least 30 minutes creating a mental picture of having achieved your goal by December 1st. Remember… you are creating a picture you want your brain to clearly recognize and remember. So... close your eyes and make it as emotionally vivid and intense as possible.  Use all of your senses (smell, sight, touch, hearing and taste) to create a mental picture.

Third, read aloud your goal and re-create your mental picture twice a day every day between now and December 1st. Commit to do this! Especially good times are the first thing when you wake in the morning, and a few minutes before bedtime.
Give your mind a target, and it will do its best to hit it.

STEP TWO
Next comes the part of success most people skip – translating your goal into IMMEDIATE action.

Most people’s goals are actually nothing more than a wish or desire. Because of this, their goals are seldom achieved. If you REALLY want to achieve a goal you must take ACTION.  

First... a 2-Day Challenge. Fold the piece of paper you wrote your goal on to divide it into two sides. On the left side list 5 things you can do to move toward your goal. On the right side write the exact time over the next two days you will take action on this item. Briefly describe exactly what that action will be.

Next, go to work on your first task. Get it done! Do not let procrastination take over.

Then, at the end of your 2-day challenge, spend an hour or two to plan your next 2-day challenge. The satisfaction you will feel from completing the first 2-day challenge will carry you into the second, and do on until you reach your goal.

STEP 3
Getting what you want is basically one successful 2-day challenge after another. So…why doesn’t everybody do this? For every 100 people who read this article, only 1 or 2 will actually do it.

Why? Although almost everyone wants to succeed, only a few are truly willing to COMMIT to their goals.

  • Are YOU ready to commit to YOUR goal?
  • Are YOU ready to make some CHANGES to do so?
  • Are YOU ready to truly TAKE ACTION?

STEP 4
If YOU are one of the few who is ready to go for it, here is one more tip:

Conduct a review of your current thoughts! You need to take charge of the internal messages your subconscious mind is broadcasting.

Failure to pay attention leaves your subconscious mind in control. Then your subconscious mind will simply continue to reinforce the same thoughts that created the reality you want to change

This takes no special abilities, intelligence or talent. No matter what your past or present situation, or how many times you might have failed to reach your goals, you CAN change things by simply paying attention to the thoughts streaming through your mind.

Psychic Powers!


There is an 85 percent chance you have psychic abilities, are clairvoyant, and can perform remote viewing says one researcher.

Dr. Chris Roe places a pair of enormous fluffy earphones over the head of a blonde 20-year-old woman. He then carefully slices a ping-pong ball in half and tapes each piece over her eyes, switches on a red light that bathes the woman in an eerie glow, and leaves the room.

After a few moments, a low hum fills the laboratory, and the woman begins to smile as images of distant locations begin to flow through her mind.

She says she can sense a group of trees and a babbling brook full of boulders. Standing on one boulder is her friend Jack, waving at her and smiling.

She begins to describe the location to Dr Roe. Half a mile away, her friend Jack is, indeed, standing on a boulder in a stream. Somehow, the woman has been able to see Jack in her mind’s eye, even though common sense says this is impossible.

85% Are Clairvoyant
Dr Roe, a parapsychologist based at the University of Northampton, has been investigating whether it's possible to project your mind to a distant location to observe what is happening there.

His early findings suggest that up to 85 per cent of us may be clairvoyant and possess remote viewing abilities. Dr Roe believes that with only minimum training, you can develop psychic skills. “Our results are significant,” Roe says.”Remote viewing is something that should be taken seriously.”

An increasing number of scientists agree. Professor Brian Josephson, a Nobel Prize physicist at Cambridge University, says: The experiments have been designed to rule out luck and chance. I consider the evidence for remote viewing to be pretty clear-cut.

Growing Military Use of Psychics
The military is also taking a keen interest. In the UK the Ministry of Defence has commissioned its own research. And documents released under the Freedom of Information Act detail a series of experiments on psychic phenomena. But the actual details of the experiments that were carried out are still classified.

In the early Seventies, the US military and the CIA funded a series of covert research projects designed to track down the most gifted psychics in the US, unravel the mysteries of their powers, and then find ways of teaching these skills to ordinary soldiers and agents...

How Your Brain
Keeps You Warm

During the winter months the weather can turn frigid, cold and beyond freezing. Our natural instinct to bundle up is one step in an elaborate system to protect our body and organs from freezing.

Your nervous system is your front line of defense against the cold. When you head outside in cold weather, the nerves in your skin, internal organs (and even tongue) report temperature changes immediately to the brain.

The brain then sends out signals to call the body to action. While we are looking for ways to warm up, one part of our brain (the hypothalamus) is silently working like a thermostat to keep our body temperature in a constant, comfortable range.

The hypothalamus regulates the conversion of food into body, then distributes the heat to help your body survive the cold.

If you remain cold, your hypothalamus may make you shiver and your teeth chatter. These annoying repeated muscle contractions increase the production of heat in your body up to five times what you normally produce.

The next time you head out into the cold you may want to give your body a break and wear your itchy long johns. That way your brain won’t have to work so hard trying to keep you warm.
